Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Guide for Beginners [Secret Tips and Tricks!]

Finally! Another Final Fantasy game out on mobile! This one resembles Brave Frontier but much better in my opinion. I will be sharing the top tips for beginners starting out in this game. Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is definitely something worth waiting for!

Things You Should Do First

As a general rule, you should be doing the following:

1. Complete all story and quests in the open world
2. Level up and awaken all your best units – check out the tier list
3. Do Colosseum as much as possible.
4. Farm magicites and level up your espers – do Fulan Pass Exploration or Latius Woods Exploration

Also, money isn’t really as important compared to Brave Frontier. Just do a standard summon using your friend points and level the unit to max level. Sell them off and you will have enough gil. When maxed, 1★ units give 4,000 gil, 2★ units give 15,000 gil and 3★ units give 32,000 gil. Unless you are really in need of gil to buy things, opening a Gil Vortex isn’t really worth doing. The best vortex to open is the experience vortex so you can level your new characters quickly.

Unlock Fina ASAP!

Try to unlock her. You need to finish the first map Grandshelt Isles and head to Lanzelt, the second map. Fight your way to Lechios Hills, which is midway through. Upon completion, you get her. She offers very good support skills such as cura, curaga, blindna, poisona, which are all useful skills in making sure your party is alive. At 5 stars, her all important skill is Cheer, which gives 30% attack/defense boost.

She will be the most important and free support character that you will be getting.

Re-roll For Good Units

If you have already fallen in love with the game,  you will want to re-roll the first premium summon pull to be a good unit. You basically have to reset the game over and over until you get a good unit. Below are the good ones you should try and roll. Keep in mind the star grade doesn’t matter as you will be able to get them to max star easily later on.

Using Facebook to reroll

Creating a dummy account

Note: Make sure the saved game and Facebook account you are using to create the dummy account are throwaway accounts.

• Start a new game if you haven’t.
• Link this saved game to a Facebook account by logging in into Facebook. Menu > Options > Login.
• That’s it. You only need to create one dummy account to reset your data, and it can probably be shared with friends and other people.

How to reset the saved data

• Login into dummy Facebook account. Menu > Options > Login.

• It will warn you of losing your current saved data, accept it.

• Logout from dummy Facebook account. Menu > Options > Logout.

• Your game will close. Open the game again and your data will be reset.

• Start a new game and reroll.

• Repeat until you get desired units.

Do Your Daily Quests

The daily quests will give you 50 lapis. Rating the app for the first time will also give you 100 lapis. Leveling up gives 100 lapis.

Quickly Unlock Ifrit

Aside from Siren, Ifrit is the quickest esper you can get. Golem and Shiva will require a few decent units to get there, especially trying to complete Wolfangs Peak Exploration.

In order to unlock the quest to fight Ifrit, you will need to unlock Port City Lodin by doing the story mode. Once you can enter the city, you need to find the street seller guy.

Go look for the street seller located on the left side item shop. Check out the location here:

The sailor will offer to take you to Port Ordol free of charge.

Upon entering Ordol Port, go speak to the little boy in the center of the city that tells you about the fiery mountain.

This will unlock the volcano Inferno Hollow. Exit the town to fight Ifrit after going through the dungeons.

Lapis: How You Should Spend It

Only use Lapis to summon if there is a bonus to summon a unit(there will be bonus pulls occasionally).

When you start the game, just focus on summoning good units. Eventually, you will need to upgrade your material slots. Make sure to keep a stack of materials and selling the excess ones so you can craft items if needed. Avoid increasing slots for units, equipment, ability and item slots. You won’t need to.

Battle Tips and Tricks

Bosses are easily dealt with if you have poison, paralyze and sleep. That is why units that have these vital skills are so good. Poison deals 10% health of the monsters per turn. Sleep stops monsters from moving unless attacked by a physical move. Paralyze completely stops the monster from moving for 2-3 turns. Combine any of these status effects and you have a strong team going.

Using the spell Libra allows you to view the full description of the monster in the menu -> guide -> monsters.

Try to steal(Paul or Vaan) from Colosseum monsters as much as possible. Also, always be spamming limit breaks and espers as you will want to get the Hero’s Ring, which is an excellent item for mid level players.

Best Places to Farm

For trust, go with earth shrine dungeons at only 1 energy. For rank, go to Grandshelt Catacombs – Exit. It gives 78 exp/energy. The siren and ifrit battle 2★ battle gives 33.3 exp/energy.

For your units, go with Chamber of Experience – ADV as you get 2,000 exp/energy. The Fulan Pass – Exploration gives 1,800 exp/energy. Keep in mind this places takes more time to complete, so if you don’t want that, go with just Chamber of Experience.

Earning Trophies for Hero’s Ring

This nifty ring increases your ATK and MAG by +10%, DEF+3, SPR+3. This is the best ring you can get for mid game. Upon getting 30 trophies, you can get the recipe and it take 72 hours to craft. If you play the game often, you can get 30 trophies in roughly 2-3 weeks.

To earn more trophies:

• Spam limit breaks
• Ask for more friend points as your gift
• Do Colosseum battles and make sure to steal!
• Craft potions and shurikens as they are easy to get to get that daily quest done
