Playing Destiny 2 means getting to know the ins and outs of the game, including the Planetary Materials you’ll need for Vendor purchases and upgrades. And yes, that includes Microphasic Datalattice, the mat which one of your clan buddies has surely called Microscopic Datalettuce at least once. If you’re wondering how to get Microphasic Datalattice in Destiny 2, there are a few options available to you. One is definitely the easy path. The other two are, eh, a bit more tricky.
Buy Microphasic Datalattice from Spider
A Vendor by the name of Spider runs the Tangled Shore, and he’s a good ally to have on your side if you need some Microphasic Datalattice. In addition to offering Bounties, Spider is also a trader who will trade you mats, including that Datalattice, for either Glimmer or Legendary Shards.
Spider’s inventory rotates randomly each day, so you’ll have to check back again if you arrive on a day he doesn’t have Microphasic Datalattice in stock. Still, this is by far the easiest way to get the mat. You buy, you receive, and you go on your merry way.
Get some from your Destination Resource Bundles
The Destiny 2 Season Pass can hook you up with some Microphasic Datalattice if you need it, though it should be said that the Destination Resource Bundles containing the mats only drop at certain tiers. If you’ve already passed one, or if you’re a while out from the next, this option may not work out for you. If you’re just one or two slots away, though, grind XP and level up that Season Pass to get your Datalattice.
Get to farming on Nessus
If no other route is available to you, there is one last option for how to get Microphasic Datalattice in Destiny 2, but it’s incredibly boring. You’ll need to run around Nessus searching out the physical manifestation of the material, or you’ll need to find Nessus chests that contain it.
That said, both of those above avenues don’t give you much Datalattice. So this is basically your fallback if all else fails.
And that’s how to get Microphasic Datalattice in Destiny 2
Now that you’re all hooked up with this knowledge, there’s not much left to do but go out and get the Datalattice you need for whatever you’re trying to complete. Best of luck to you.
