Every once in a while in Destiny 2, a weapon comes along that is downright infuriating to play against in the Crucible. You love how wicked it is in PvE activities, for sure! But Crucible? It feels broken! How is this thing even allowed? You may have such thoughts about Jotunn, an Exotic Fusion Rifle that still finds plenty of use today in the game’s PvP activities. If you don’t have one, and you want to fight fire with fire — or more appropriately, fight toasters with a toaster — here’s how to get Jotunn in Destiny 2.

How to get Jotunn in Destiny 2

Jotunn came from Destiny 2‘s Black Armory Forge era

If you’re wondering why Jotunn isn’t just a regular drop in the world, it’s because you had to earn the weapon a very specific way once upon a time. Jotunn was a drop from the Bergusia Forge back when the Forges were still around. If you forged a golden weapon frame at Bergusia, the Exotic Fusion had a chance to drop for you.

Of course, now that the Destiny Content Vault has come into being, the Forges are no longer accessible. Thus, the original way to get Jotunn no longer exists. But there is another path you can take, if you’re willing to pay the price.

You can now buy Jotunn from the Monument to Lost Lights

Yes, Jotunn is now something you can just purchase from a kiosk and walk away with, which certainly takes some of the anxiety out of the whole thing, right? As for how to get Jotunn in Destiny 2 exactly, you’ll need to visit the Monument to Lost Lights, ensuring you have the following currencies and materials:

Once you have all that collected, open the Monument and enter the section labeled “Forsaken Exotics.” From there, you’ll find Jotunn in the fourth slot. You can then make your purchase and walk away with your new Exotic Fusion Rifle in hand.

And that’s how to get Jotunn in Destiny 2

As you can see, the process is much simpler now than it used to be, and requires zero luck, as opposed to the big bunches of it you needed from the Black Armory Forge days. Be sure to take Jotunn into Crucible and enjoy the near-automatic kills you can get if someone doesn’t know how to dodge its fiery ball.
