Bethesda Softworks’ Ghostwire: Tokyo had first been announced in 2019, and though it didn’t make its 2021 release date, it was said it would release this year—but when? Just in, a new leak has possibly revealed that we won’t have to wait too long until we get the game.
As pointed out by MP1st, the PSN Page for Ghostwire: Tokyo has revealed that the game could come out on March 24. The release date has been removed since then, but it could be a hint that Bethesda is planning on releasing the game earlier in the year.
We don’t know when we could get an official release date, but it’s possible that we could get a new look at the game during State of Play 2022 which is set to happen on Jan. 24. If anything, that would be the perfect time to announce something that’s coming out in March.
Of course, this is all just speculation based on a small leak. It’s very likely plans could change based on the state of development. If anything, the game looks fantastic, and I can’t wait to jump into this night-city-meets-the-Japanese-occult world.
