Last October saw the release of Square Enix’s Guardians of the Galaxy, but despite the game catching everyone by surprise, it hasn’t really made the expected sales numbers. Thanks to Xbox though, we can expect more people to get their hands on the game.
As officially announced by Xbox, Guardians of the Galaxy will be coming to Xbox Game Pass on March 10. Here’s the official description:
Fire up Star-Lord’s jet boots for a wild ride across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. With the unpredictable Guardians at your side, blast your way from one explosive situation to another, with original and iconic Marvel characters caught in a struggle for the fate of the universe. You got this. Probably.
With Square’s Avengers game missing the mark on launch, a lot of people were skeptical when Guardians of the Galaxy was first revealed. Oddly enough though, the game had earned some pretty great reviews, but I guess that isn’t enough to really boost sales numbers.
With more people being to access the game via Game Pass, maybe Square’s version of the Guardians could have another chance at a sequel moving forward.
Besides GOTG, other games coming to Game Pass this month will be Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Kentucky Route Zero, Lawn Mowing Simulator, and Young Souls.
Guardians of the Galaxy comes to Xbox Game Pass on March 10. The game is currently playable for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
