Franklin, Lamar, and Stretch all have a normal day in the hood life.
The Long Stretch Synopsis
Franklin arrives home after a long day, but as soon as he gets inside the house, he hears some weird sounds from the living room. Curious about the commotion, Franklin heads to the living room to see her aunt and her friends doing some ritual. As soon as his aunt sees him, he tells her he does not want to know what they are doing. Weirded by what he just witnessed, Franklin decides to head out of the house.
Just as Franklin opens the front door, he sees Lamar and Stretch walking toward him. Franklin greets Lamar but ignores Stretch, much to the latter’s annoyance. A short argument ensues between the two as they clearly do not respect or like one another. Before things could go out of hand, Lamar breaks both men up and tells Franklin to join them in some business.
Franklin agrees and drives Lamar and Stretch to Ammu-nation to pick up a shotgun with a flashlight attachment. Afterward, the trio proceeds to La Puerta to meet up with D.
Once they arrive in the warehouse D set up for their business, Lamar greets D, much to Franklin’s surprise (Lamar previously kidnapped D in an earlier mission.)
Stretch greets D, but D tells Stretch the business is not about him, which causes Franklin and Lamar to become worried about the situation. As soon as Franklin peeks out the window, he sees multiple cars from a rival gang making their way to the warehouse. The trio realizes they have been set up by D. This causes Stretch to become furious with D, causing him to shoot D in the head twice.
The trio fight their way out of the recycling plant but soon realizes that the LSPD has responded to the commotion in the area. With the LSPD hot on their tails, Lamar and Stretch strap down as Franklin tries his best to outrun the cops.
The trio eventually manages to outrun the cops and head back to Franklin’s place, where they all split up after a hectic day in the hood.
The Long Stretch Gold Medal Objectives
- Accuracy: Finish with a shooting accuracy of at least 60%.
- Headshots: Kill 10 enemies with a headshot.
- Unmarked: Complete with minimal damage to health and armor.
- Use cover as much as possible. The wall towards the right side of the last room will give you the best protection from incoming fire.
- Time: Complete within 10:30.
- The cutscenes are pretty long in this mission. Skip them all to save time. Franklin’s ability should help you outrun the police faster, thanks to the improved maneuverability it offers.
The Long Stretch Mission Guide
Get in the car and drive to Ammu-nation.
Scroll towards the left to arrive at the pump shotgun. Do not forget to get the flashlight attachment.
Drive to La Puerta at the recycling plant. Feel free to use Franklin’s special ability along the way to drive to the route at full speed.
Look for the green door. Get in and run through the stairs.
Skip the cutscene that ensues. Get ready to enter the yellow doors and take cover. Several enemies will be rushing in. Try to take as little damage as possible, and land those headshots to complete the Unmarked and Headshots Gold Medal objectives.
Be wary of this last yellow door. A couple of enemies will rush in.
Once you make it outside the building, switch to the rifle one of the gang members dropped. Take out the helicopter pilot.
After dealing with the first chopper, get up the ladder and follow Lamar and Stretch.
A second helicopter will hover once you get up the ladder. Take it out with the same rifle you used for the first one.
Make your way over the wall.
Get in the car and drive away from the incoming LSPD patrol cars. Use Franklin’s special ability to maintain top speed and lose the cops.
Drive back to Franklin’s house once you lose the cops.
Double Crossed
Franklin’s hunch was right – the “deal” with D did go wrong this time, and the trio was lucky to have come out alive despite all those rival gang members and LSPD officers.
The Long Stretch is a very easy mission that requires patience and timing to complete with a Gold Medal. Just remember to take cover before shooting to minimize the damage you take. Do not forget to aim for the head to complete those headshot requirements as well. Lastly, as soon as you get 10 headshots, feel free to start aiming for bodies to maintain your accuracy rating. Like always, skip all the cutscenes to save time.
