Overwatch 2 Officially Reveals Gameplay for Ramattra

Watch this:

Overwatch’s first tempo tank, Ramattra combines various lethal playstyles as he transitions between his Omnic and Nemesis forms. Get acquainted with Ramattra’s ability kit in his Gameplay Trailer and get ready for his debut in Season 2 on December 6.

If you want a flashier reveal, you can watch the gameplay trailer here:

The character of Ramattra was said to have been in development for quite a while, and his design is sort of inspired by an Egyptian pharaoh—hence the staff that he uses. It’s kind of interesting that his nemesis form would show him having multiple arms, because that’s also a visual we’ve gotten for the character of Zenyatta.

His ultimate is also another call back to Zen. While Zen’s ultimate can heal his teammates instantly, Ramattra sucks the HP out of the enemy team, and his nemesis form can deal extensive damage to anyone caught in his vicinity.

Ramattra launches on Dec. 6. Overwatch 2 is currently playable for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
