Though Star Wars is a kid-friendly franchise, it does still feature some moments of graphic violence, specifically scenes where limbs are cut off. While Fallen Order was generally not as violent in the films, it looks like its sequel is going to be taking it to the next level.
As some fans have confirmed with gameplay online, Cal is now able to dismember the troopers that he goes up against. You can see it here where Cal cuts the leg off a scout trooper:
We don’t see any more clips going around, but it’s possible that we could be getting more than just legs getting cut off by a lightsaber. I doubt they’ll get as graphic as anything we’ve seen in the God of War games though.
Though we already have a video showing off Cal’s multiple stances in the game, we have yet to check out one of his newer stances which has been dubbed the ‘Blaster Stance’. This stance basically lets Cal us a lightsaber and a blaster at the same time. While it’s not a classic Jedi stance, I think it’s something that Cal would have had to invent himself if he was going to survive in the harsh anti-Jedi society run by the Empire.
Hopefully we can get a look at more of the game come March. In the meantime, all fans can really do is just speculate over whatever’s in the previews.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to release for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 on April 28.
