Hell VIII exclusive Legendary Items to help players deal with the most powerful agents of Hell.

Diablo Immortal: 36 New Legendary Items (February 22)

It’s as if Blizzard is subtly hinting at even more challenging Hell Difficulties coming in the future following the release of another set of 36 Legendary Items in the February 20 Content Update.

The new Legendary Items are exclusive to Hell VIII Difficulty only, which should motivate players to grind and try to reach the highest available difficulty currently in the game.

This new set of Legendary Items isn’t focused on a single combat dynamic like Legendary Items the devs added earlier. Instead, the Legendary Items aim to give each class and most of their abilities unique buffs and effects and allow players to build their characters to be more flexible in-game.

Barbarian

The new Legendary Items for the Barbarian class affect Hammer of the Ancients, Ground Stomp, Demoralizing Roar, Frenzy, Sprint, and Furious Charge. Each ability will gain various buffs and effects and help the Barbarian lock down enemies and set them up for powerful combos.

  • Breaker’s Wheel (Off-Hand): Using the Hammer of the Ancients will cause it to create an earth barrier that enemies cannot cross.
  • Dauntless Temper (Pants): Ground Stomp will summon an Ancient that stomps the ground around you.
  • Yowl of Execration (Head): Demoralizing Roar gains knockback and damage. Enemies knocked into walls will be stunned for 3 seconds.
  • Riddlerue (Main Hand): Critical Hits through Frenzy will increase Primary Attack Speed by 50% for 2 seconds.
  • Routfinder (Shoulders): Sprint will spawn a wind tunnel that gives you and your allies 30% increased Movement Speed for 2 seconds.
  • Widow in Waiting (Chest): Furious Charge slows enemy Movement Speed by 40% for 4 seconds.

Crusader

The new Legendary Items for the Crusader should give it the ability to open up engagements and lead its group toward the enemy without receiving too much punishment.

  • Desecration’s Reprisal (Off-Hand): Enemies suffering from total loss of control will receive 30% more damage from Consecration.
  • Hale Pilgrim (Chest): Gain knockback immunity from Draw and Quarter for 3 seconds.
  • Impassible Sanctum (Pants): Shield Charge will lose its forward charge but gain a holy barricade that moves with you, blocks enemy projectiles, and reduces incoming frontal damage by 50%.
  • The Recreant (Shoulder): Sacred Chain attaches to a single enemy. Upon exploding, the chains will deal damage to nearby enemies and Stun them for 4 seconds.
  • The Unordained (Main Hand): Falling Sword now swings a giant sword into the ground. Knocks enemies back and Stuns them for 3 seconds.
  • Zealflair (Head): Sweep Attack damage increased by 10%.

Demon Hunter

The new Legendary Items for the Demon Hunter will give the class more Primary Attack Speed to help it deal more damage while its abilities are on cooldown.

  • Vatro’s Valediction (Head): Using Escape will cause the Demon Hunter to drop a trap that explodes after a short delay. Deals damage to all nearby enemies.
  • Hangman’s Gambit (Shoulders): Enemies hit by Daring Swing will be immobilized, restricting movement and their ability to attack until they take damage again.
  • Hate Sheath (Chest): Vengeance increases Primary Attack Speed by 40% for 4 seconds but removes the ability to target specific enemies.
  • The Excavator (Main Hand): Impale will cause your Primary Attack to hurl knives that penetrate and damage all enemies in its path.
  • Steel Orchestra (Off-Hand): Primary Attack Speed is increased by 10% when near a Sentry.
  • Scornbeak (Pants): Daring Swing increases Primary Attack Speed by 30% for 4 seconds.

Monk

Through the new Legendary Items for the Monk, the devs look to add options when it comes to builds that focus on the Monk’s Primary Attack.

  • Chimes at Midnight (Chest): Grant immunity to knockback to allies when using Inner Sanctuary.
  • Column of Shivers (Off-Hand): Wave Strike will give your Primary Attack explosions that deal damage to nearby enemies.
  • Feline Defiance (Shoulders): Mystic Strike increases Primary Attack Speed by 30% for 4 seconds.
  • Last Leveler (Head): Dealing damage with Exploding Palm will extend its duration by 0.5 seconds. Maximum of 4 seconds.
  • Salvation’s Sting (Legs): Flying Kick gains a strong knockback that knocks enemies a long distance. Enemies hit by the initial target will be knocked back and damaged as well.
  • Tenebrous Grasp (Main Hand): Seven-Sided Strike now causes your Primary Attacks to conjure a spirit ally to unleash a powerful strike on your target. Damages enemies within its path.

Necromancer

This set of Legendary Items for the Necromancer focuses on giving the Command Golem more damage through harmful effects. The harmful effects the Command Golem inflicts on enemies will also give it up 40% more damage.

  • Crest of Rheum (Head): Sacrifice 10% of your Life to give the Command Golem 15% more damage.
  • Dead Keen (Off-Hand): Each enemy suffering from harmful effects will give the Command Golem 10% more damage up to a maximum of 40%.
  • Natural Pretification (Shoulders): Enemies affected by Bone Spikes will have a 40% reduced Movement Speed for 4 seconds.
  • Pleasant Venom (Main Hand): Command Golem will also spawn a poison golem that can leap to a target location to release corrosive acid. Enemies affected by the acid will take additional damage.
  • Wondrous Underworld (Chest): Wraith Form will now conjure two wraiths in random directions.
  • Wraithstich Trews (Chest): Grim Scythe Chills enemies, reducing their Attack and Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds.

Wizard

The new Legendary Items for the Wizard class aim to give the class the ability to gather enemies into a more manageable area and improve Lightning Nova and Arcane Missle’s effectiveness.

  • Greaves of the Firmament (Pants): Disintegrate deals additional damage every 3 hits.
  • Coat of the Astrum (Chest): Converts Lightning Nova into a single arc that jumps from one enemy to another.
  • Spars of Energy (Shoulders): Gain a Teleport charge when defeating an enemy. Has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
  • Silver Lining (Head): Black Hole increases your damage output by 2% up to a maximum of 10% for 2 seconds.
  • Stickle Burr: (Off-Hand): Magic Missle will explode and deal additional damage to nearby enemies whenever it deals a Critical Hit.
  • Thistle Bloom (Main Hand): Arcane Wind will spawn a storm that grows larger in an area over time. Pulls and damages nearby enemies

Exclusive Gear for Hell VIII

The current set of new Legendary Items brings a wide variety of buffs and effects for all six classes in Diablo Immortal. The new Legendary Items should give players more options when it comes to building their characters for Hell VIII, allowing them the flexibility of playing one role or another depending on their party’s needs in PvE or PvP.
