This is sure to upset a few early birds off.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched last week, and word is coming out that the massive AAA game is now getting a $10 discount.
Kotaku reports that Amazon has added an ‘apply $10 coupon’ box for buyers who purchase the physical copy for PS5 and Xbox Series X. You can also use the coupon for the deluxe edition of the physical PS5 game; sadly it’s not available for the Xbox Series X version—which is just listed at a 7 percent discount at $83 (the deluxe version of Survivor originally costs $90).
Amazon’s not the only one offering a discount either. Target is also offering a $10 gift card for PS5 and Xbox Series X versions of the game (both standard and deluxe copies).
This is sure to be a huge bummer for anyone who owns the PC version of the game—which is already being reported to not run properly on the platform. I guess the discount acts like a balm to some of the bad news being reported online, but it would probably be risky to discount a game that’s broken when it comes to its PC port.
