Tekken 8 has steadily been revealing some classic characters returning to the roster, and the latest one revealed is one of the franchise’s longtime psychos.
Check out the gameplay for Bryan Fury:
A wildcard for violence and destruction.
Bryan Fury, former cop turned psychotic cyborg, is unleashed in #TEKKEN8!
Bryan has been a playable character since Tekken 3, and his origin places him as a former cop-turned zombie cyborg. Though the trailer showcases him having a fight with Paul, his rival in the franchise is said to be Lei, a fellow cop who was said to have been responsible for the death of Bryan.
As far as fighting styles go, Bryan uses kickboxing during matches, and is usually portrayed as a very manic character. When it comes to his looks, he still has his signature white hair, military pants and boots, and a red sash on his one arm.
So far, Tekken still has quite the roster of classic characters to go through before we can expect any new characters to be announced, but I guess Bandai is playing the slow and steady game. After all, it is the third big fighting game gearing up for another mainline entry this year; the other two are Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.
As of now, Tekken 8 still has no release date, but fans are expecting a release for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime later this year.
