Here is the official description:

Embrace your destiny as Odin, the Norse god. Unleash new divine powers as you embark on a desperate quest through a breathtaking world.

Complete a legendary Viking saga and save your son in the face of the gods’ doom.

The expansion allows you to continue the story of Odin and will have players traveling to the dwarven realm of Svartalfheim. The expansion promises some new story content and weapons and mechanics; essentially, Ubisoft has promised players will have over 35 hours’ worth of content for this expansion alone.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has grown a lot since it started way back in 2007. Whereas the series began with attention to historical detail, now we have players living out mythology with different kinds of gods and monsters. Say what you will about the franchise, Assassin’s Creed is still one of the most profitable titles for Ubisoft, and it is likely we will be getting more titles down the line.
