The Deadpool DLC comes to Marvel’s Midnight Suns in a few days, and just as expected, we have a new character deep dive looking into Wade’s abilities and kit, as well as the benefits of having Hunter hang with him in the Abbey.
Watch this:
Deadpool’s abilities are very dependent on his En Fuego status which allows him to add extra damage to his opponents on the battlefield. Since Wade also has his own healing factor (which is said to be more effective than Wolverine’s), Deadpool manages to gain health with every turn, making him harder to kill.
Most of DP’s moves are based on using his guns or katanas, but he also has a taunt where he swears at enemies and has them focus on him. His legendary ability also allows him to do one fiery hit on a single enemy.
I’ll admit, the kit is kind of bland for a character like Deadpool, but I guess most of what makes him his character is more of the things inbetween gameplay like the dialogue and jokes.
Here’s the description for Midnight Suns:
After centuries of sleep, Lilith, Mother of Demons, has been revived by Hydra through a twist of dark magic and science. Lilith is determined to bring back her evil master, Chthon, and when Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases, you’ll be the world’s best hope of stopping her. Fortunately, you won’t be alone. As the Hunter, a legendary demon slayer with a mysterious past, you’ll fight alongside the Midnight Suns – an unlikely group of seasoned Super Heroes and dangerous supernatural warriors.
Deadpool launches for Midnight Suns this Jan. 26. Midnight Suns is currently playable for Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 4|5.
