Japan wouldn’t be Japan without its trademark obsession with youth.

Top 10 Best Lolicon Anime List [Recommendations]

And nowhere does that appear more than in anime, where adorable children take center stage… sometimes as love interests.

Here are the top 10 best Lolicon anime starring adorable – and often precocious – kids.

Listen to me Girls, I’m Your Father!

listen to me girls i am your father

Yuuta Segawa finds himself in an awkward situation. Asked to babysit a family’s three young daughters while their parents are on a trip, the plane they’re on goes missing.

Faced with the prospect of the sisters being split and taken in by different family members, Yuuta decides instead to take them all in to keep them together.

Relationships of all kinds grow from this.

Renkin San-kyuu Magical? Pokaan

Renkin San kyuu Magical Pokaan

Here we have four girls from the netherworld just trying to fit in with humans. But for a witch, android, vampire and werewolf, fitting in isn’t all that easy.

That’s especially true when a woman named Dr. K-Ko is working to expose them as not human. And “expose” is definitely the right word here, for reasons you’ll see for yourself.

Kodomo no Jikan

kodomo no jikan

It’s a common trope in anime for kids to be more sexually inclined than adults.

Enter Kodomo no Jikan, the anime about 3rd grader Rin Kokonoe’s attempts at seducing her teacher, Daisuke Aoki. Naturally, Daisuke turns aside her advances as best he can, but then a deeper story emerges: What circumstances drive Rin to be like that, and how can Daisuke help?

More importantly, how deeply should he get involved as a teacher? For a series that appears to be about fanservice of 10-year-old girls, Kodomo no Jikan does a surprisingly good job of raising some deep moral and philosophical questions along the way.

Astarotte no Omocha!

Astarotte no Omocha

Okay, so this is about a 10-year-old succubus who needs to construct a male harem to do that thing that succubi do.

Unfortunately for Princess Astarotte (or “Lotte,” as she is more often known), she hates men. She says she will only accept the harem if her handlers can find a human male – which will be difficult since humans are supposed to be extinct.

Welp, some stuff happened, and they found one as hilarity ensues.

Ryo-Kyu-Bu!

ro-kyu-bu

What happens when a team of five adorable girls joins a basketball club – and ends up coached by a would-be high school basketball star?

Ryo-Kyu-Bu happens.

Ironically, why is Subaru Hasegawa coaching this team of Lolis instead of playing basketball for his high school? The team was disbanded after the captain was found to be pursuing the coach’s underage daughter.

The irony here is delicious, so it is among the top 10 best Lolicon anime.

Strike Witches

transferir

There’s not much to Strike Witches, but there doesn’t need to be.

It’s about a bunch of girls flying around in their panties (they can’t wear pants because they have jet packs on their legs), shooting down aliens. That’s all it ever really is.

Incidentally, the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs endorsed Strike Witches as an example of “wholesome family entertainment” in 2008. So there’s totally nothing to worry about here.

Mitsudomoe

mitsudomoe

Mitsudomoe is another series where elementary-age girls are more sexually aggressive than adults.

But unlike Kodomo no Jikan, in which those feelings are unleashed directly on the teacher, this is about the girls clumsily trying to hook up with their teacher and the school nurse.

Along the way, they misunderstand many things about love and sex and make old man levels of dirty jokes in the process.

Sky Girls

Sky Girls

If you liked Strike Witches as much as the Japanese government did, then you’ll probably like Sky Girls… basically the same amount.

You can’t call Sky Girls a rip-off because it technically came out a year before Strike Witches. But it’s still about a platoon of girls who fight aliens by flying around.

So you have the idea already. Oh, but mechs are also involved here, so that’s pretty cool.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

Higurashi When They Cry

These Lolis are super cute for about an episode or so. Then they start losing their minds and trying to kill each other. And they usually succeed.

Then they’re cute again.

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is more mystery/horror/psychological thriller than Loli fanservice. But it does work the fanservice in there during the limited moments it’s appropriate (there is definitely a maid cafe).

But more than that, this makes the top 10 best Lolicon anime because murder lolis are great.

Hanamaru Kindergarten

hanamaru kindergarten

Hanamaru Kindergarten features the loliest characters imaginable. Hard to get much younger than kindergarteners unless you want to go straight to toddler.

Of course, the kids in Hanamaru Kindergarten aren’t like those in Kodomo no Jikan or Mitsudomoe. They’re just cute 5-year-olds doing cute 5-year-old things.

This is a slice-of-life about kindergarteners and their often-overwhelmed teachers. There isn’t much more to it than that. It’s equal parts hilarious and adorable.
