I can’t tell the last time Pokemon got a theme song since Don’t Say You Love Me by M2M, but the next mainline Pokemon game Scarlet and Violet has one with none other than pop singer Ed Sheeran.

Check out Sheeran’s Celestial in this early launch trailer for Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet:

Though the game has been keeping a lid on the new kinds of Pokemon we can meet in the Paldea region, this new trailer gives us a look at all the different creatures we’ll meet aside from the three starters. We also have a look at all the different characters that we’ll meet in the game, from various trainers to other professors all looking to explore and discover different kinds of Pokemon.

With Sonic Frontiers bringing their franchise into the open-world RPG genre, it’s going to be interesting to see just how Pokemon will be taking their stab at RPGs. If anything, I’m kind of surprised that we haven’t had an open-world Pokemon game before, given the themes of exploration and nature that the IP has.

Hopefully this will be a step in the right direction for Nintendo moving forward.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the first open-world RPGs in the Pokémon series. As you enjoy the hallmarks of the series—meeting, teaming up with, battling, training, and trading Pokémon—you’ll be able to immerse yourself in a newly evolved adventure.

Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet launch on Nov. 18 for the Nintendo Switch.
