I recently moved into a mill complex that has great suite apartments. I love my new home. A great view of the city I live in, a washer and dryer in the apartment, my own designated game room, and high ceilings. Although the latter sent my OCD off the charts. I have a lot of gaming merchandise but the tall walls make my gaming room seem blank and empty. Below you can see my man cave in action. You’ll see all my miniature collectibles in front of my tv, some pictures of me playing hockey as a child, a few gaming posters and memorabilia, and badges from my time at game conventions hanging on the wall. It still doesn’t take up nearly all the space provided though. The ceiling is missing from the shot but imagine the height you currently see doubled. That’s how high up the ceilings are.
My conundrum was a simple one. I had to acquire more items. However, this time I wanted detailed art. That’s what everyone happy with their lives does right? Collect a bunch of art and hang them up? Luckily, my empty spaces on the walls agreed with that sentiment. After a time of looking I stumbled up Iron Gut Publishing. They produce high quality art with every limited edition creation they make. As it turns out they just recently signed a multiyear license deal with Sony. That means officially licensed and expertly produced video game art! I found my empty wall spaces something to be proud of.
Needless the say I asked the contact person for Iron Gut if it was possible to see their catalog. Once I received it I couldn’t be happier. Currently they have incredible art pieces for Driveclub, God of War, Killzone, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 4, and Lemmings (of all things.) I eventually went ahead and ordered the God of War – Monster and LittleBigPlanet – Angry art for my gaming cave. I was also given permission to share a few pieces here with everyone and received detailed information about each one. Most of them are limited to either under 1000 or 5000 pieces. So if you want your own it’s better to order sooner rather than later. You can order them by clicking here.
I hope you enjoy! I know I will once they arrive and I’ll be posting an update article once they’re here. The joys of being a nerd, right?
