Boss attacks:

  • Running Rampant: Physical damage to all enemies – If Flower is killed first

Strategies:

  • Defeat the Antenolla in this order Ivy > Root > Leaves > Flower
  • Focus on using single hit attacks, causing the flower to reach its HP threshold while the other parts are still up could wipe you and defeating the flower before defeating the other parts will most definitely wipe you
  • Use your Fullbreaker to Fullbreak each flower part, if you have more than one unit with Fullbreak even better, otherwise just have that unit rotate Fullbreak on each part of Antenolla
  • You should have a unit with a tanking ability to protect your healer, Warrior of Light is an MVP this fight since he also has Fullbreak
  • If your having trouble, you can try blinding the root and paralyzing the flower, but Antenolla is resistant to both

General Tips:

  • Found in the Vortex of Trials
  •  Bring a unit with Full Break
  • Osmose and Osmose Blade are very useful since they will save you from using your ethers and elixirs
  • Equip items that prevent your party members from being paralyzed, Ribbon if you have it, or a Jeweled Ring works as well, would work best on your healer

Useful Spells:

  • Osmose – Magic damage (0.3x) with MP drain (30%) to one enemy
    • Esper Only
  • Osmose Blade – Hybrid damage (1.4x) and physical damage (0.3x) with MP drain (30%) to one enemy
    • Craft-able

Gear:

Anything that has high attack and defense, if going the melee team, or anything that has high magic and spirit if going the caster team. Make sure not to bring any weapons that are fire, ice, lightning, water or wind elemental, since they will do reduced damage.
