A remastered version of Destroy All Humans! 2was announced last year, and though we haven’t gotten any significant updates over the past few months, THQ Nordic has finally dropped a released date for the Reprobed version of the classic title.
As per the official announcement, Destroy All Humans! – Reprobed is set to come out on August 30, 2022:
Here’s the official description:
Crypto is back with a license to probe. The alien invader returns, groovier than ever. Experience the swinging ‘60s in all its chemical-induced glory and take revenge on the KGB for blowing up your mothership. You’ll have to form alliances with members of the very species you came to enslave.
This is the second remaster coming out for Destroy All Humans! after the remaster of the first game came out back in 2020. We don’t know if THQ Nordic wants to rework other titles like Big Willy Unleashed and Path of the Furon, but with the success of the first remaster, it’s possible that we could be looking at a huge comeback for the Destroy All Humans! games.
Then again, I think it would be great if the studio could come up with their own original titles moving forward. I mean, even Crash Bandicoot had to make About Time right after the success of the N. Sane Trilogy and the remake of Crash Team Racing.

Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is set to come out on Aug. 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
