We’ve known for a while that Captain Jack Sparrow will be a playable character in Disney Speedstorm. Still, another face from Pirates of the Caribbean comes to the game in the form of Elizabeth Swann.

Thanks to KindredCVS, we have some footage of how Elizabeth plays in the game, plus we also get to look at the track that’s pretty much inspired by the POTC movies. Check this out:

Elizabeth has a lot of shared abilities like Boost and Cloak, but her special skill is called Jade Captain’s Knot, which has Elizabeth dashing forward and knocking away any enemies near her. Holding the command will leave a trail to slow down opponents behind Elizabeth.

With Disney’s trove of Disney princesses, I was curious that a character like Elizabeth Swann got her playable driver. Still, I guess they wanted some more characters from the world of Pirates of the Caribbean since they had a whole map based on the films.

Davy Jones would have been a better pick for a playable character, but it’s great that they’re adding more women to the roster. Even so, there’s always an opportunity to keep adding more players to this Mario Kart clone.

Early Access for Disney Speedstorm launches this April 18 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
