Techland’s Dying Light 2: Stay Human finally has a release date and the developer/publisher has gone a step further by giving us a deep dive look at the game’s world in a new gameplay trailer.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human Release Date Announced, Awesome Gameplay Trailer Released With Pre-Order Details

Techland has announced that Dying Light 2: Stay Human will release on December 7th, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC, and that pre-orders are available now for those wanting to secure their copies early.
The developer/publisher also presented the first episode of its informative series Dying 2 Know, which is a lengthy 30-minute feature where the developers talk about different aspects of the game, as well as revealing a lengthy gameplay segment, which is also available as its own video if you don’t have the time to watch the full feature.

Pre-orders for Dying Light 2: Stay Human include three editions of the game: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s, each of which is available digitally and physically.
Everybody who pre-orders any version of the game will get an exclusive in-game bonus called the Reload Pack, which gives players a unique outfit (won’t be that unique, will it?) a weapon, and a paraglider skin.
The Deluxe and Collector’s editions come with steelbook cases as well as inclusive story DLC which will be released at a later date post-launch. For full details on pre-order goodies, you’re best off checking out the pre-order page.
In addition to giving out the details on Dying Light 2: Stay Human, the previously leaked Dying Light: Platinum Edition has been released today, bundling the original game with every piece of DLC and content released so far. Not a bad deal if you’ve never ran through the streets of Harran before.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a story-driven open-world action role-playing game, a sequel to the critically acclaimed Dying Light published in 2015, which has been played by over twenty million people all over the world. This time, players are visiting the City—mankind’s last stronghold in the fight against the virus. Developed parkour mechanics enable players to explore the vast open world and use tactical combat. The lost civilization and setting of the modern dark ages requires creative approaches to finding items and crafting gear. Gameplay shifts during a day and night cycle, so players can dare to plunder abandoned lairs of infected at night and discover the dark secrets of those in power by day. Players must choose which side they want to take and write their own story.
