Final Fantasy 14 continues to be one of the most popular MMORPGs on the planet. It’s that fact that brings new players into the fold on a regular basis, which means there are always people looking for information on the basics. If you’re someone who is new to the game, you may be wondering when the FF14 daily reset takes place. We’ve got the answer for you right here, so strap in — but not before you get a post-it note ready.
Here’s when to expect the reset each day
Like a lot of MMORPGs (and looter shooters like Destiny 2), Final Fantasy 14 operates on a daily schedule. Every 24 hours — much like the real world — the game starts a new “day,” meaning the daily quests or other activities available to you may change or have their progress impacted.
The FF14 daily reset occurs at 3 p.m. GMT, which — during the time of year when Daylight Saving Time is turned off — is 10 a.m. ET, 9 a.m. CT, 8 a.m. MT and 7 a.m. PT. If Daylight Saving Time is active, all of those times get bumped up by one hour (unless you’re in a time zone that doesn’t recognize DST).
FF14 has a weekly reset, too
In addition to a daily reset time, Final Fantasy 14 also has a weekly reset. This takes place on Tuesday, though, quite oddly, it isn’t the same as the daily reset time. Instead, you’ll need to have your weekly activities wrapped up by 8 a.m. GMT, which is 3 a.m. ET, 2 a.m. CT, 1 a.m. MT, 12 a.m. PT.
Again, like the daily reset, if you’re in a zone that observes Daylight Saving Time and you’re in that period of the year, you’ll need to add one hour to the times listed above.
And now you know the daily reset time
Now that you’re all filled in on the FF14 reset time, you can plan your gameplay sessions around completing activities before the clock runs out. As a bonus, you now have the weekly reset time, too.
Good luck and enjoy playing Final Fantasy 14!
