The Dragon Ball franchise may have its usual heroes, but Bandai wants to go a different direction with Dragon Ball: The Breakers by putting the spotlight on civilian characters.

Frieza Revealed for Dragon Ball: The Breakers

Just in, we have a new trailer for the game revealing one of the franchise’s biggest villains—Frieza. Check this out:

Here’s the official description:

Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam: they share their imprisonment with the Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power.

Their only hope for survival is to break out from the Temporal Seam with the Super Time Machine, but the Raider is on their tracks and becomes stronger by the minute.
In a race against time the cunning of Survivors clashes with the power of the Raider, to break free or be broken.

As promised, the game focuses more on the civilian characters of Dragon Ball, which means that players won’t be able to take control of characters like Goku, Piccolo, or even Yamcha. However, we do get to see some familiar faces like Bulma and Oolong. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mr. Satan was a character as well, but I guess he’s still a fighter—no matter how weak the show makes him out to be.

Frieza looks to be only one of several incoming villain for The Breakers, and the banner does include other heavy hitters like Cell and Kid Buu. Hopefully there’s room for other fan favorite villains to show up in the future.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers is set to release for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on Oct. 14.
