To obtain the Superior Griffin Steel Sword Diagram, you need to go down the mountain from Yngvar’s Fang until you arrive at a small town. You will find a small road that leads to a tall protruding rock from the ground. Upon closer inspection, you will find that the rock has a Witcher Symbol. Using your Witcher Senses you will find a chest containing the Superior Griffin Steel Sword diagram behind the rock. This superior version of the sword has the following stats:

- +15% Sign Intensity
- +25% Critical Damage
- +5% Bonus XP from humans / nonhumans

Superior Griffin Silver Sword Diagram
To find the Superior Griffin Silver Sword diagram, you need to travel south from the mainland of Skellige until you reach the Elverum Lighthouse located near the tip of the island. Walk to the northern part of the coast, and you will find an entrance to a cave. Enter the cave, and search for loot. At the end of the cave is a large room where you will find a chest hidden in a nook at the back containing the Superior Griffin Silver Sword diagram. The superior version of the sword has the following stats:

- +15% Sign Intensity
- +25% Critical Damage
- +10% Dismemberment
- +20% XP from Monsters

Unlike the Enhanced Griffin Witcher armor set, the superior diagrams for the School of Griffin armor set are found in one place. But do not expect to have an easier time obtaining this set of diagrams.
To find the said diagrams, travel north from Giants Toes, where you will pass through many stone passageways. There, expect to fight a lot of humans. These bandits have a camp up ahead, so once you’ve dealt with all of them, loot all the chests in the camp until you find the chest containing all four of the Superior Griffin Armor Gear diagrams.
