The latest upgrade for Gran Turismo Sport goes live today, and brings with it a roster of twelve new cars waiting to be trashed driven to victory. Patch 1.10 also includes the sorely missed GT League mode, hopefully creating a more rounded and complete experience for this latest instalment.
There were few greater challenges in the Gran Turismo series than the Volkswagen Samba Bus. Maybe it was us and our Dualshock 3s, but that Dub wouldn’t stay within the course. Instead it gladly massacred any innocent traffic cone in sight. But if you have missed that murderous ride there is good news; a Christmas miracle of sorts. It is one of the twelve new cars added as part of the upgrade. Woohoo, let’s hit the surf! Board shorts for Christmas!
Not that the rest particularly matter, but should you be interested in the other eleven they are:

GT League will be a single player mode that consists of numerous race series’ that have proven popular in the previous games. These include the Sunday Cup and FF Challenge.
But the biggest star of the show, so to speak, is the inclusion of Lewis Hamilton who will be delivering a series of videos designed to mentor the home-based virtual racer. In the studio’s own words:

[We’re] excited to introduce the first of our Lewis Hamilton mentor videos, as Lewis takes to the Nürburgring GP circuit. Never before has a four-time world champion sat down and offered such detailed insight into their driving technique and philosophy.

This latest update provides two videos; a standard and extended version, both of which are packed with tips and practical advice that will help you become a better racer. Both videos provide a real insight into how Lewis races – from how he selects his racing lines and braking points, to his general racing philosophy that guides how he tackles every circuit. It was an honor to sit down with Lewis at the peak of his career and get a better understanding of what makes him tick. Nothing like this has been captured before, and I believe this will provide useful insight for GT fans and future generations of racers.

Both videos can be found in the Lewis Hamilton section of the Brand Central area.

Which car are you eager to steer to victory? And what track will you be throwing it at?
