Learn how to fly a plane in GTA 5 and rule the skies!
Piloting an airplane is something that most normal people will never get to experience in their lifetime. So it makes sense why planes and aircraft have this undeniable charm in video games.
The Grand Theft Auto franchise has featured aircraft and planes as far back as Grand Theft Auto III. The ever-nostalgic Dodo Seaplane was the first-ever aircraft players could pilot and take out for a quick spin.
Unfortunately, fixed-wing aircraft won’t make a consistent appearance in succeeding titles in the franchise, as only Grand Theft Auto: Vice City/Vice City Stories and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas would feature pilotable fixed-wing aircraft natively in-game.
Rockstar Games more than made up for the lack of planes in past games with GTA 5, which features more planes than all of the other Grand Theft Auto games combined.

Another way to acquire an airplane in GTA 5 is to head to Los Santos International Airport. You’d be hard-pressed not to find an aircraft here, as numerous planes are parked in random hangers in the airport. Just make sure you’re prepared to face some heat from the police, as you will automatically gain Wanted Stars by entering the Los Santos International Airport if you do not own a hanger.
Last, you can find a couple of planes at the McKenzie Field Hanger, where a BF Injection or a Duster can be parked outside the hangar.

Flight Control
Flying a plane in GTA 5 is fairly simple once you get the hang of it, and there is not any legitimate excuse for the GTA 5 veteran not to know how to fly a plane.
Nevertheless, casual players who have never completed GTA 5’s story mode will likely not know how to fly an airplane in-game. Hopefully, through the controls guide above, you can experiment and teach yourself how to fly and land a plane easily in Grand Theft Auto 5.
