Hood Outlaws & Legends is a team-oriented game. There is a reason why there are four classes, each with different unique set of skills and abilities. The point is, that you have to be organized with your team in order to do well. However, sometimes communication with your team might become a little, say, over the top. In light of this, we will show you how to mute or disable your voice chat!
How to Mute & Disable Voice Chat – Hood: Outlaws & Legends
Sumo Digital- Outlaws’ developers have made it straightforward to disable voice chat. On top of that, there is also a lot of options like muting only certain players, push-to-talk, and similar.
These days, for some reason this is increasingly rare, where you can mute and disable, or tweak your voice communication settings. It is puzzling, but in Outlaws & Legends, that is not the case.
Here is how to mute and disable voice chat in Hood: Outlaws & Legends:
- Open the menu.
- Go to Audio.
- Find Voice Chat, and set it to OFF.
Or, if you don’t want to fully disable the voice chat, but want to mute certain players, find the option ‘Mute Players’ in the Audio settings. There, you can set to which players you want to mute. Players can set it to everyone except team, everyone except friends, and more.
These capabilities are great to have for a game of such high caliber, and where communication might become tense after a certain play or match.
There is also a push-to-talk function that players can utilize or disable, based on their preferences. It can be found in the Audio settings also, below Voice Chat Volume and Microphone Volume.
Many players use third-party applications for communication, since they’re far more adjustable with better quality. Again, in Outlaws and Legends, they have managed to give players a lot of settings when it comes to communication.
