Horizon Forbidden West had been teased as one of the most forgettable games of 2023, but the world is still amazing, and Aloy’s latest adventure may just get a larger player base.
As announced by PlayStation, Horizon Forbidden West is going to be coming to PlayStation Plus Extra this month along with some other great titles.
Join Aloy as she braves the Forbidden West – a majestic but dangerous frontier that conceals mysterious new threats. Explore distant lands, fight bigger and more awe-inspiring machines, and encounter astonishing new tribes as you return to the far-future, post-apocalyptic world of Horizon. Reunite with old friends, forge alliances with warring new factions and unravel the legacy of the ancient past – all the while trying to stay one step ahead of a seemingly undefeatable new enemy.
No doubt, the release of Forbidden West is probably a way to hype up the incoming DLC Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores; but I guess it’s worth noting that Burning Shores will be coming exclusively to the PlayStation 5.
Either way, I’m sure a lot of fans who had missed out on Aloy’s latest adventure will be eager to come back to her world thanks to PlayStation Plus.
Here’s a list of the other games that will also be coming out:
- The Quarry (PlayStation 4|5)
- Resident Evil 7 biohazard (PlayStation 4)
- Outriders (PlayStation 4|5)
- Scarlet Nexus (PlayStation 4|5)
- Borderlands 3 (PlayStation 4|5)
- Tekken 7 (PlayStation 4)
- Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PlayStation 4)
- Earth Defense Force 5 (PlayStation 4)
- Onikaki (PlayStation 4)
- Lost Sphear (PlayStation 4)

As for PlayStation Premium Classics, fans will be getting The Legend of Dragoon (PS1), Wild Arms 2 (PS1), Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (PS1), and Destory All Humans! (PS4).
Watch out for these PlayStation Plus games when they get added on Feb. 21. Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores launches for PS5 on April 19.
