Did you have trouble getting a certain Raid Exotic to drop in Destiny 2? Or were you missing for a DLC or two? If so, there’s good news: you can purchase Exotics from Raids that are no longer in the game at the Monument to Lost Lights. The bad news? You’ll need an in-game currency to do it. You’ll need to know how to get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2.

Raiding is the way

If you thought you were going to get your hands on a Raid Exotic without having to step foot in a Raid, guess again. Bungie made Raids the only drop source for Spoils of Conquest, which means you’ll have to either ask some friends or hit up LFG to find a Raid group.

Fortunately, you don’t have to clear a Raid to get Spoils of Conquest. You can get a stack after completing a Raid encounter. So if you’re worried you may not be able to take down the final boss in any of Destiny 2‘s current Raid activities, you can at least breathe a sigh of relieve there.

Most encounters reward 5 Spoils of Conquest. In the Deep Stone Crypt Raid, there are two hidden chests as well that contain 10 Spoils each.

At the Monument to Lost Lights, Raid Exotics will typically run you 240 Spoils of Conquest. Bear in mind that you’ll also need some other currencies on hand, including an Exotic Cipher, Glimmer, and Ascendant Shards.

If you have everything you need, though, you should be clear to purchase. It may take some time to grind those Spoils, but at least you can look forward to a guaranteed Raid Exotic at the end. If you were running the actual Raid, it’s possible you could clear it dozens of times and never see that weapon. That’s RNG for you.

And that’s it! Now that you know how to get Spoils of Conquest in Destiny 2, you can get to collecting all of those Raid Exotics you missed out on previously. Good luck and enjoy.
