While it’s not as big as Pokemon, the world of Digimon definitely has its own vibe and fandom, and fans are in for a new game called Digimon Survive. Just in, we have a new teaser for the game, and it showcases the main cast of characters plus a lot of familiar Digimon we’ve met before.

Celebrating the franchise’s 20th anniversary, Digimon Survive is a tactical RPG with a focus on storytelling and turn-based battles. Takuma Momozuka goes on a school camping trip only to find himself transported to a mysterious world full of monsters and danger. Join Takuma and Agumon as you craft your story and fight your way back home in Digimon Survive.
We don’t know what the overall story for this game is yet, but I think we can put together some of the common elements with the Digimon franchise in that we have a cast of kids, and each of them gets their own partner Digimon.
Though the teaser focuses mostly on the new incoming characters, we also get some snippets of the RPG gameplay for Digimon Survive. So far it looks like your typical RPG, but Im sure it will be a fun way to get into the world of Digimon if you aren’t familiar yet.

No official release date has been set for Digimon Survive, but hopefully ‘Coming Soon’ means it releases within the year. The game will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch.
