Omega Force is the studio behind the Dynasty Warriors franchise, and though they have a nice spin of ancient warriors, we now have a look at them taking on some Monster Hunter-level creatures.

Monster Hunter Meets Ghost of Tsushima in Reveal for Wild Hearts

Check out the reveal for Wild Hearts:

Here’s the official description:

Master ancient tech to hunt down giant beasts. WILD HEARTS™ is a unique twist on the hunting genre where technology gives you a fighting chance against fearsome beasts infused with the ferocious power of nature itself. Take on these creatures alone or hunt with friends in seamless co-op.

Developed by Omega Force, the Japanese studio behind the DYNASTY WARRIORS franchise and in partnership with EA Originals, WILD HEARTS takes you on an epic adventure set in a fantasy world inspired by feudal Japan.

We don’t have an extensive look at the gameplay, but the trailer does give us a pretty good gist of what the game is about; you take control of these ancient warriors, and you take on massive, nature-based monsters.

I guess when it comes to the newer element of the gameplay, you get to have some kind of special box that will evolve based on what you need in the fight, from a bomb, to some harpoons—basically anything that can help you take down what you’re hunting.

I’m sure Monster Hunter fans will find something to love about this game, with the creature design and fantastical setting. We only have the reveal now, but we should get a more extensive look soon.

Wild Hearts launches on Feb. 17, 2023 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.
