Cyberpunk 2077 may not have been able to get the multiplayer that the developers initially hoped for, but we are getting a DLC expansion next year. The Game Awards had just given us a new trailer, and it features another A-list actor besides a returning Keanu Reeves.

Here’s the official description:
Introducing Idris Elba as Solomon Reed, an FIA Agent for the New United States of America. Team up and take on an impossible mission of espionage & survival.
With the first game having V take on the major corporations of Night City like Arasaka, it’s actually odd that the US government should come into play this late after the game launched. I guess they really just wanted to put the focus on NC for the first game; and now with Uncle Sam knocking on the door, I think there’s some great opportunity to build the lore for this version of the future.
And here I am kind of disappointed they didn’t tease Sasha Grey and her upcoming character. With a celebrity like her in tow, you’d think CDPR would want to catch everyone’s attention with the Game Awards reveal. I guess they wanted the presentation to be more on the family friendly side? I doubt any zoomers would be too familiar with Grey’s work before she became a Twitch streamer.
Phantom Liberty launches for new-gen consoles sometime in 2023. Cyberpunk 2077 is now playable for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 4|5.
