The end of the week will see the launch of Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates’ next big game adventure with One Piece Odyssey, and we have a new trailer showcasing the game and all the wild arcs that the crew will be revisiting from the anime.

Though the story of One Piece has been going on for two decades, this is the largest scale game we’ve ever had for the Straw Hat Crew. Throw in four of the biggest arcs from the franchise, and you have one hugely anticipated game.
Despite the revisiting of familiar places, Odyssey also has some new characters and creatures from One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda. We don’t know what the future of the franchise could be, but it would be great if this game could spawn a completely original story that won’t rely on established arcs.

Alabasta, Water Seven, Marineford, Dressrosa – The Straw Hat Crew’s adventure on Waford will take them on a journey through their memories of these four unforgettable ONE PIECE Arcs.
- Help Vivi save the country of Alabasta from a civil war orchestrated by Crocodile and Baroque Works
- Explore a beautiful metropolitan city and fight to rescue your crewmates from CP9 in Water Seven
- Join the Paramount War and attempt to stop Ace’s execution at the hands of the Marines at their stronghold, Marineford
- Team up with Rebecca, Sabo, and Trafalgar Law to save the city of Dressrosa from destruction at the hands of Doflamingo
One Piece Odyssey launches on Jan. 13 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
