Mobius Digital’s Outer Wilds was met with sparkling reviews when it came out back in 2019, and years later, the game is now ready to come out native to new-gen consoles like the PS5 as well as the Xbox Series X|S.

With the incoming upgrade, Outer Wilds will be available with native 60 FPS support. Though the upgrade is expected for new-gen consoles, Xbox One and PS4 owners can also avail for the upgrade for free as well.
Since the mystery behind Outer Wilds is one of the main hooks of the game, we can’t really get descriptive when it comes to the story. What we can say that the setting takes place in a solar system in a time loop, and it’s the player’s job to find out exactly what’s happening.
Not to be confused with Outer Worlds, Outer Wilds was one of the best-reviewed games of 2019, and it’s great that we’re finally getting an updated version for new consoles. Will you uncover the mystery of the timeloop, or will you be doomed to die endlessly in this collapsing solar system?
