Overwatch 2 had teased a new Battle Pass that will be bringing back Overwatch credits, and it goes live with the launch of the third season. Just in, we have a new trailer showcasing all of the new cosmetics and upcoming events including a Valentine’s Day event as well as the return of the World Cup.
Check this out:
Experience an all-new Battle Pass with more ways to earn rewards, including legendary and mythic skins inspired by Asian mythology.
Bundle up as you make your way through Antarctic Peninsula, a New Control map.
Earn in game credits as free rewards, just by playing.
Battle through one-of-a-kind limited time modes and experience seasonal events.
Though we’ve had Overwatch crossover with other Blizzard properties before, this looks like the first time they’re going to be collaborating with another IP in the form of One Punch Man. With Lunar New Year also dominating February usually, it’s pretty neat that we’re getting a Valetine’s event with cupid Hanzo.
With so many complaints about the Battle Pass when the game first launched, a lot of fans are hopeful that this new model will allow players to actually get some cosmetics that they want. Who knew that it would get so bad that fans were actually missing loot boxes for a while?
Season 3 is now live. Overwatch 2 is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
