The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection pricing details have leaked online. Here’s what you can expect from the latest additions to the PS5 product line!
On Thursday, September 19, Sony revealed a new PlayStation collection to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of its iconic console lineup. The PlayStation 30th anniversary collection features nostalgic designs inspired by the first of its name and more advanced configurations. The latest additions to the PS5 product line include five products, including the PlayStation 5 Pro Console and the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console(Slim model). Players can expect them to be available in limited quantities.
While Sony has provided most details about the PlayStation 30th anniversary collection, including a release date set for November 21, 2024, we’re still waiting to find out the prices of these products. However, a leak from a reputable source has given us some pricing information for a few of the items. Let’s check out the details below.
PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection: Pricing and Other Details
According to the latest report from Dealabs Magazine, the limited edition PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console (Slim model) is priced at $499.99 in the US, which is just a $50 increase over the PS5 standard variant.
This edition is expected to come with a limited edition PS5 Digital Edition Console featuring a 1 TB SSD, alongside matching accessories like a DualSense wireless controller and console facades (disc player sold separately). It also includes a vertical stand and some cool collector’s items:
- PlayStation-themed trombone
- Cable connector housing styled like the original PlayStation controller
- 4 cable clamps with PlayStation shape patterns
- PlayStation sticker
- Limited edition PlayStation poster (30 different designs)
The report also lists the price of the DualSense wireless controller – 30th Anniversary Limited Edition – at $79.99 in the United States and €79.99 in Europe.
While the prices for the other products in the PlayStation 30th anniversary collection haven’t been announced yet, it’s likely that the PlayStation 5 Pro Console will be priced less than $100 higher than the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console (Slim model).
Starting September 26, PlayStation Network users in eligible regions can pre-order the PlayStation 5 Pro Console, PlayStation Portal Remote Player, and DualSense Edge controller – all in the 30th Anniversary Limited Edition – directly from PlayStation. However, for regions without access to the PlayStation Store, these items will be available at select retailers.
The PlayStation 5 Digital Edition Console can be pre-ordered from resellers on October 10, while the DualSense controller will be available starting September 26.
