Easter is almost here and for some that means going to church and wishing they were as cool as JC, but for others it means a nice long weekend with chocolate and games. Us heathens fall into the latter category – myself especially. This weekend will be spent eating as much chocolate as I can get my hands on, but when I’m not ruining easter egg hunts for the neighbourhood kids I’ll be throwing my money at new games – and you should to!
To help us throw our good money away, Uncle Sony has added some new games to the ongoing Easter Sale on the UK and European PlayStation Stores. It’s not a massive amount of new games, mind, but the quality is pretty darn great. We’ve got the likes of Assassin’s Creed Origins and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey being knocked down to reasonable prices, as well as a couple of new releases that get a cheeky PS Plus discount.

I must write this every single time but I cannot stress enough that if you’re not a plus member but you are buying lots of digital games, it might be worth subbing for a month while you go on a digital shopping spree. Hey, it’s also worth remembering that anything you buy on PS4 will still be good on PS5 thanks to the confirmed backwards compatibility with Sony’s upcoming machine.
