Twitch streamer Sasha Grey may be internet famous for another thing, but she’s going to be making the jump to video games thanks to CDPR.

Sasha Grey Joins Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty

According to Grey’s announcement on Twitter, she’ll be voicing new character Ash in the upcoming DLC for Cyberunk 2077, Phantom Liberty. Here’s the post:

Ash will be a new character created for the DLC, and she’s a DJ for a new radio station called 89.7 Growl FM. While we should expect to hear Grey’s voice while we cruise around doing missions, I have a feeling that Ash is going to be interacting with V personally with some quests to provide and jobs to pull off.

One question that a lot of fans are asking is if the game is going to using Grey’s likeness for her character in the game. Since Grey herself is a very recognizable celebrity, I have a feeling that CDPR would want to cash in on using her likeness; who knows, maybe it can even get more people to try out the game just like Cyberpunk: Edgerunners did. Besides, if they can turn Keanu Reeves into a cyborg rockstar activist, they can probably do the same for Grey.

For now, Phantom Liberty still has no specific release date, but CDPR should try their best to keep the hype going. Though the game did have an iffy launch, the enthusiasm brought back by Edgerunners has significantly upped the player base.

Phantom Liberty is expected to come out sometime in 2023 for new-gen consoles, but you can check out the base Cyberpunk 2077 now available for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
