In November 2020, the game Shinobi Life 2 abruptly disappeared from the Roblox platform to the shock of both the game’s fans and its developers. Amid a Naruto copyright controversy, Roblox decided to immediately remove the Rell Games’ Shinobi Life 2 from their platform and told no one about it.

Luckily, Rell Games sprang to action in order to remove and modify any content that may cause copyright claims in the future. After a week, Rell released the game under a new name – Shindo Life. With the game now up and running, it’s time to start exploring it again. And to help you with that, this article will teach you how to make tree jumps with ease.

How to Tree Jump?

Moving across the map in Shindo Life can take quite some time if you’re trying to reach a spot on the map that’s distant from you. On your way to your desired destination, you’ll pass through beautiful landscapes dotted with many trees. And when you come close to a tree, the game makes you feel super-tiny compared to its height.

If only you could climb one to enjoy the view, right? Well, thanks to the game’s not-so-obvious mechanics, that’s something you can actually do. It’s just a simple matter of combining the right set of commands.

Climbing Up a Tree

To climb a tree in Shindo Life, you can’t just go to its trunk and start climbing. At least not without a jump. When you approach the trunk, you need to tap the jump key and hold the key for moving forward. Your hero will then automatically switch from the horizontal plane of the ground they’re standing on to the vertical plane of the tree’s trunk.

Once you do that, keep climbing using the command for moving forward, and that’s it. Ultimately, you’ll arrive to the treetop, allowing you to enjoy the sprawling vista in front of you. Now all you have to do is jump to the next tree.

Making the Jump

Now that you’ve successfully climbed a tree, it’s time to start thinking about making that leap to the next one. The first step is to approach the ledge of the treetop you’re standing on and face the direction of a tree you want to jump to. Please be careful not to fall down while doing so, especially since you don’t have to be that close to the ledge to make the jump.

Now, tap and hold the jump button. Like some kind of magic, your character will jump up and fly in the direction you’re pointing in. Just like that. Once you reach the safety of the next treetop, it’s time to release the jump button. This will allow you to land on the new tree and prepare to jump to the next one.

Tree jumping in Shindo Life is essentially flying since you can adjust the direction you’re moving in. You can go up or down, right or left, all that without losing any speed at all. For example, if you want to jump to a tree that is taller than the one you’re standing on, just point in the direction of its treetop. That’s it. Now you know how to tree jump in the game formerly known as Shinobi Life 2.

Pay Close Attention to Your Character’s Stamina

As mentioned above, Shindo Life allows you to climb a tree and jump to the next one by actually flying over rather than jumping. All you have to do is choose your destination by simply pointing in the direction you want to go.

So why jump to the next treetop? Why not fly all the way over to the tenth tree in the line without stopping? As a matter of fact, why not simply jump and fly to a distant mountain for example? The answer is simple – your character’s stamina. This is the orange stat at the bottom of the screen, STM for short.

This simple game mechanic you usually use for various other actions, also prevents you from flying freely for prolonged periods of time. That’s why it’s called tree jumping and not flying. When you launch into the air, you will start spending your stamina. If it goes to zero while in the air, you’ll plummet down to the ground. Which is definitely something you don’t want to do.

However, if you land on the next treetop, your stamina will recover in a few moments and you’ll then be able to make another jump.

Completing the Tree Jump Mission

Now that you know how to jump from tree to tree, it’s time to solve that Tree Jump mission you’ve been wondering about. Check your Daily Missions list to see how many times you have to make a tree jump to solve it. The number of required jumps can vary greatly. Sometimes, it can be as low as only five, while other times it can take as much as 200 jumps to complete this mission and claim your rewards.

If you get a Tree Jump mission with a lot of jumps, you can head over to the Leaf Village where you’ll find the landscape dotted with tall trees. Now, climb a tree and start jumping between them. If you don’t want to bother with moving around the map too much while solving this mission, there’s a way around this too.

Simply climb a treetop and do all your jumping in the one place. Each tree jump you do on that single tree will count against the mission’s requirements. Essentially, you only have to tap and hold your jump button for a second or two and then release it. That counts as a tree-jump. Repeat that enough times and you’re done with the mission.

Hopping from Tree to Tree

As you can see, it doesn’t take much time to learn how to perform tree jumps in Shindo Life. Now that you know how to do this, you’ll be able to cover much more distance in less time. Flying through the air is definitely faster and provides for a more fun way to navigate this magic world. Just make sure to keep track of how much stamina you have left, so you can prevent any inconvenient falls from great heights.
