One of the biggest titles to come out on the Nintendo Switch was Splatoon 2, and we’re set to return to the world of ink and colors with Splatoon 3. Just in, Nintendo has held a Direct event for the game, and we finally have a release date.
Nintendo has released a pseudo-music video called Anarchy Rainbow from the fictional band Deep Cut from within the world of Splatoon. As officially announced, Splatoon 3 is set to come out on September 09, 2022. Watch this:
We should expect Shiver, Frye, and Big Man to be common personalities in the city of Splatsville, a new hub area that will be introduced in Splatoon 3. In Splatsville, you can check out shops, chat with locals, and tinker with your gear; you can also look for some battles online and set up your multiplayer battles with your friends.
There have been a lot of adjustments when it comes to gameplay, and Nintendo has worked hard to make sure Splatoon is good fun for you and your friends. While the game does play out like a traditional shooter, the ink elements and the ability to traverse with them add that special twist that makes Splatoon a unique title for Nintendo.
