Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was the first positively received Star Wars game in a long time, and a lot of fans are waiting in the return of Cal Kestis in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor coming out next year.
The game is set to have a huge reveal in this coming Game Awards, but before that we have some key art revealed, as well as a release date and a look at some pre-order bonuses. Check this out:
According to the game’s listing on Steam, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to release on March 15, 2023.
With the first game being criticized for its lack of cosmetics, the pre-order bonuses revealed are cosmetics for skins inspired by classic Star Wars characters Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Luke Skywalker. We also have Han and Obi-Wan’s blasters as well as lightsabers from both Luke and Kenobi.
Even Cal’s droid BD gets some cosmetic skins that are inspired by R2-D2.
We don’t know exactly how the game has evolved, but it looks like Cal is going to be getting a blaster of his own. With the first game being called a PG version of Dark Souls, I’m eager for Survivor to try something different with the gameplay—hopefully something closer to God of War or Uncharted.
Personally, I just want to be able to pilot the Mantis in some missions and maybe have Merrin and some other companions join the fight.
Catch Star Wars Jedi: Survivor when it launches March 15, 2023. Watch out for the Game Awards panel streaming on Dec. 8.
