With Avatar: The Way of Water beating out Spider-Man: Now Way Home’s box office gross, it looks like there’s a lot of new hype for James Cameron’s world of Pandora. It was a year ago when it was announced that we would be getting a game called Frontiers of Pandora from Ubisoft, and though we haven’t had any updates, it looks like the studio has high hopes for the upcoming game adaptation.
According to Insider Gaming, Ubisoft is expecting Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora to ‘do incredibly well’ when it releases around April of 2024. Originally, the game was announced for a 2022 release, but seeing as we got nothing, it’s likely the title was pushed back.
Seeing as how meticulously crafted the world of Avatar is, I think a delay could be expected. I just wish they gave us some kind of update alongside the release of The Way of Water. With the movie still doing pretty well in the box office, I think there’s still some time for the studio to offer some kind of update on the game.

No new release date has been announced for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but the game is expected t launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2024.
