Cypher’s cameras will come in handy in the flank-heavy map.
On other VALORANT maps with a middle lane, players have to actively defend or attack the lane to gain access to additional flanking lanes toward either bombsite on the map – not on Fracture.
Fracture was designed so players on either the Attacking or Defending sides could take the long zip lines and initiate a flank attempt on either group on the map as soon as each round began. This means that the attacking team can use two entryways toward A-site or B-site to execute a pincer attack on the Defenders at round start, while the Defending team can use the zip lines to flank the Attackers as well.
To combat this, the Defending team needs to find a way to watch both entryways on A-site and B-site simultaneously, while the Attackers need an Agent who can watch the flank while they make their way to either bombsite as well – things Cypher can do very well on Fracture.
Best Camera Spots on Fracture A-site
A-site is much harder to defend against on Fracture. This is because A-site has not one, not two, but three entryways that the Attacking team can use to attack A-site – A-Main, A-Rope, and A-Drop.
A-site is arguably the best bombsite to play as Cypher as well. Cypher can set up traps to stall the enemy rush and use his Spycam to watch A-Dish/Drop simultaneously.
A-site Drop Camera
This Spycam is great for watching both A-Main and A-Drop. If you are holding A-site alone, you can hang around at A-Ropes so you can cover all three entryways towards the A-site.
A-site Entrance Camera
If you place Cypher’s Spycam above the A-site entrance, it will give you a bird’s eye view of the entire A-site and some of A-Drop.
A-Default Camera
Use this Spycam to get a good look at the A-Main entrance, A-Drop, and A-Ropes.
A-Hall Camera
The incoming Attackers will be focused on checking common sightlines at A-Hall. Placing Cypher’s Spycam along this window in A-Hall will give you a good headcount on the incoming enemy team.
Best Camera Spots on Fracture B-site
You can bet on the Attacking team using B-Arcade and B-Main to control B-site. B-Arcade is particularly important because it connects to a rotation lane from Defender Spawn. Without B-Arcade control, the Defending team will be cut off before they can even come close to B-site itself.
A simple Spycam that can watch over B-Arcade should do wonders for playing B-site Defense on Fracture. Try out the ones we have listed below.
B-Site Camera
Very similar to the A-Default Spycam Spot. Gives you a good view of the entire B-site and should still be effective even if the Attackers smoke off Generator.
B-Arcade Camera
Use this Spycam at B-Arcade so you can focus on holding sightlines at B-Main.
B-Tower Camera
This Spycam is a great alternative for the Defender Spawn camera on B-site.
B-Canteen Camera
Alternative Spycam placement that will give you a good view of B-site. The enemy team will be very cautious of your Spycams after using them at least once, so alternate between different placements to keep the enemies guessing.
Anti-Flank Camera
On Attack, you will be better off using Cypher’s Spycam to watch your team’s flank. Using your Spycam for post-plant can work too, but only if you are sure, the enemy team cannot flank you at A-Main/A-Dish or B-Main.
Zipline Camera
As previously mentioned above, the Ziplines allow both the Attacking team and Defending team equal opportunity to flank one another.
When playing the Attacker side, use this Spycam to spot incoming flankers toward the A-site or B-site.
All Seeing Eye
Cypher’s Spycam can help free up manpower on your team and will give your team the option to reinforce either bombsite on the map. Of course, just remember to cycle between these Spycam spots on either bombsite so the enemy won’t know its next location.
