This AUG gunsmith build is most easily explained as an Assault Rifle and SMG combination. You can use this loadout at close range fights and easily eliminate your enemies and at the same time it can be used at medium range to deal massive amounts of damage.

It also provides you some pretty great mobility to move around the map and hunt down enemies. This loadout is great for close to medium range fights but be careful of enemies at long ranges since this isn’t the most accurate gun at long distances.

These perks are the best ones to use with these build because it just helps you play around the strengths of this AUG build. Even though you area already pretty mobile with this build, Double Time will help you move faster than you already do.

Overkill will allow you to use another primary weapon and use another build so it’s best to take a sniper for extreme ranges. Finally, Amped will help you switch between your AUG and whatever 2nd weapon you choose easily. The best strategy is to take a shot with your sniper at long range and then rush them and finish them off with your AUG.

LMGs are usually known for their large magazine sizes and being able to take extended fights without reloading. Their downsides on the other hand is the slow reload rate and low mobility. This AUG loadout provides you with the positives of the LMG without its negatives.

The 60-round magazine should be more than enough to last you for extended fights plus it also does more damage. You are more mobile and you can reload faster than LMGs can, so this build is definitely giving you a huge advantage.

Some of these perks can be changed depending on your playstyle but we are sticking with these ones since these are the best ones that we think fit this build. Double Time helps you move around the map faster and be even more mobile, helping you chase down your enemies.

High Alert will help you stay alive and not be caught off-guard by your enemies. Enemies will usually use Flashes, Stuns, and other nades to slow you down and counter your large magazine size and Battle Hardened will definitely help you out reducing the effectiveness of various Tacticals, allowing you to continue spraying your enemies down.

Frag Grenade

These 2 grenades will help you become more effective at using your AUG. Since you generally want to pressure your opponents and force them to leave their cover, you can use the Frag Grenade to force them to move and either fight you or flee. Whatever they decide to do, you can react and use the Stun Grenade to slow them down so that they will have a harder time to flee or fight.

Should You Use an AUG Warzone Loadout?

The AUG in Warzone is a very flexible SMG that is capable of outputting high levels of damage, depending on the attachments that you use on it. It requires you to have a somewhat aggressive playstyle but at the same time know when to take fights or flee from fights.

It has great mobility, great damage, and good accuracy which is why it’s one of the few SMGs that can be used at range. At its core it’s simply an AR and SMG hybrid.

There are still going to be situations that an AR or an SMG would be better than the AUG, but for the most part the AUG would be fine. It requires you to adapt to a playstyle focused on the strengths of the AUG, you have great mobility so you need to use it and move around the map a lot.

It’s a close to mid-range weapon and it’s useless at longer distances. If you’re the type of player to get close to enemies and hunt them down, the AUG is a good choice, however if you like to play long distances and kill enemies from range, the Warzone AUG probably isn’t the way to go.
