Disney Infinity may have come and gone, but the House of Mouse is ready to bring players some new interactive IP complete with beloved Disney characters from developer Gameloft.
Take a look at the announce for Disney Dreamlight Valley:
Here’s the official description:
Discover the magic that memories hold as you embark on an enchanting journey, and explore rich stories in a village of your own design, alongside some of Disney and Pixar’s most beloved characters in this new life-sim adventure game. Welcome to Disney Dreamlight Valley.
According to VentureBeat, the game will be free-to-play with the promise of 40-60 hours of content when it comes to the main story. While it does look like a slice-of-life sim game, it seems that Dreamlight Valley will also come with its own active adventure in which everyone can participate.
For now, it kind of feels like Kingdom Hearts without the Final Fantasy elements, but there’s definitely a lot of room for expansion when it comes to this game. Talking to GamesBeat, Marketing manager for the game Clair Llewellyn said about Dreamlight Valley:
“Disney Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a life simulation and an adventure game… The valley was where familiar friends from the most heroic to the most villainous lived together in harmony… We’re really excited to bring the final conclusion of this game to life with the community and alongside the community.”
No specific release date has been announced for Disney Dreamlight Valley, but the game is expected to launch this summer for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
