As promised, WB Games Montreal has given us a look at Gotham Knights, but though we have four playable characters available, we’re only looking at half the Bat-team—Nightwing and Red Hood.

Check them out:

They don’t always see eye to eye, but Nightwing and Red Hood can agree on one thing — protect Gotham at all costs.

As you can see, the two characters have already been given abilities that really set them apart from each other. Besides their fighting styles, in which Nightwing has his sticks and Red Hood outright uses (non-lethal) guns, they also have varying traversal methods, with Nightwing having a glider, and Red Hood using ‘spirit energy’ to jump mid-air.

We don’t have a look at Batgirl and Robin yet, but I have a feeling some characters will be keeping to the skillset that the old Batman Arkham games had; with some added unique touches here and there.

Though Gotham Knights takes place in its own universe, fans are pretty much aware of where this game is drawing its influence from. Let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint when it launches.

Batman, Jim Gordon – they thought they had a handle on #GothamCity, but there are hidden forces at play that no one talks about. It is up to the #GothamKnights – #Batgirl, #Nightwing, #RedHood, and #Robin – to uncover the secrets of this city’s past before it’s too late. But beware, the #CourtofOwls is always watching, always listening.

Gotham Knights launches on Oct. 25 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5, and PC.
