After years of begging from fans, Capcom is finally set to release their remake of Resident Evil 4, essentially the game that launched the modern era of the RE games. To hype up their exclusive coverage for the game, Game Informer has released a new gameplay trailer which teases the first chapter of the game.

Watch: New Gameplay Reveal for Resident Evil 4 Remake

Watch this:

Just like every modern-day remake, the new RE 4 is expected to add more than just graphical improvement to the original game. As per GI (via @Okami13_), the remake will feature new side quests for players, including a new variety of enemies and weapons (like a crossbow).

Players can also take command of Ashley Graham, the daughter of the president that gets kidnapped in the game. While she had a specific set of commands in the original game, we could expect her to be able to do more in this remake.

Here’s the official description for the game:

Survival is just the beginning.

Six years have passed since the biological disaster in Raccoon City.
Agent Leon S. Kennedy, one of the survivors of the incident, has been sent to rescue the president’s kidnapped daughter.
He tracks her to a secluded European village, where there is something terribly wrong with the locals.
And the curtain rises on this story of daring rescue and grueling horror where life and death, terror and catharsis intersect.

The Resident Evil 4 remake is set to release on March 24 for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
