In Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, players were able to switch between two saber stances, with Cal having a double-saber special move; now with Survivor, we have a total of five stances to choose from, and thanks to IGN, we have an extensive overview.
Check this out:
Get a rundown on the five different lightsaber stances you’ll wield in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, from single bladed, to dual blades, even to the new blaster stance. We talked with the developers at Respawn to learn all about how these stances play into the combat.
Though the single blade and dual blade stances will be back, we’re also getting a proper stance for the dual-wield sabers—which was apparently the plan for the first game before the developers ran out of time.
The new stances that will be introduced will be the crossguard stance which looks like a heavy attack with a longer blade; and the blaster stance which will have Cal wield a blaster and saber at the same time. It’s not really a Jedi move, but since this is the time of the Empire, you can’t really blame Cal for using whatever he has on his arsenal.
We don’t have a look at the blaster stance in action yet, but with the game set to come out in April, hopefully we get some more trailers and coverage around March to get everyone hyped up for the release.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is set to release for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on April 28.
