We already had a good look at incoming hero Lifeweaver, but we should expect even more goods for the next season of Overwatch 2. Just in, a new trailer has been dropped for the incoming season, gearing up for its launch next week.
Check this out:
Here’s the official description:
Blossom onto the battlefield with our newest Support Hero Lifeweaver, progress through the Battle Pass to earn rewards including Mythic Galactic Emperor Sigma, and fight for your faction when The Watchers and The Infinite Empire clash in the Starwatch event!
Explore Talantis, the first-ever map made in collaboration with the community.
Enjoy major quality-of-life updates with a revamped Competitive experience.
Besides all the new updates on the description, the game is also said to have removed the rotation system for maps, so we can expect classic locations to come back in matches including Eichenwalde.
There have also been several changes done for characters, including Brigitte, who has been given an expanded shield for her ultimate, allowing her to bash multiple enemies at once and be harder to kill when she activates Rally.
Not to mention, there are several events that have also been announced including one for Symmetra as well as a Pride event this coming June. We don’t know what special cosmetics are coming there, but I imagine we could get something big for Overwatch’s anniversary event in May. Or does OW 2 celebrate its anniversary in October?
Overwatch 2 Season 4 launches on April 11. The game is now playable for PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 4|5.
