It could be a while before CD Projekt Red gives us a teaser for their upcoming Witcher sequel, but in the meantime, we get to revisit the world of the Continent, but updated for the new-gen consoles.

The update is said to come for free for anyone who already owns The Witcher III, and it will include 4K textures, ray tracing features, photo mode, 30 FPS mode, and more. They’ve even improved the gameplay, and have even added some content based on the Netflix Witcher series.
With Bethesda having released Elder Scrolls V so many times people forgot to count, it seems that CDPR could be doing the same for The Witcher III; but I guess you can’t really blame them. With The Witcher IV probably set to come out in 2024, I think this new-gen update should keep fans satiated while they wait for Geralt’s next run.
