Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed franchise has certainly evolved over the past years, and while fans aren’t really expecting a huge game like Valhalla to come to the Nintendo Switch, Ubisoft just brought three of the arguably best games in the franchise into the platform.
Here’s the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection on the Nintendo Switch:
Play as Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the most celebrated and iconic Master Assassin in the franchise. Includes the acclaimed single-player campaigns and all solo DLC from three games: Assassin’s Creed® II, Assassin’s Creed® Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed® Revelations, as well as two short films. Live the complete saga of a Master Assassin.
Though the Switch isn’t able to run the larger games on in the franchise, Ubisoft has been making slow progress when it comes to bringing older titles to the platform. Besides the Ezio Collection, fans can also check out Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed Rogue on the Switch.
Funnily enough, one of the titles they haven’t brought to the Switch is the first Assassin’s Creed game. We don’t know why it hasn’t been made available yet, but some suspect that it’s because Ubisoft wants to focus on the more popular games in the series first. Maybe down the line we could get some of the other titles for fans who want the full Assassin’s Creed experience on the Switch. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see.
Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection is now available for the Nintendo Switch.
